2 Diversions away from BHX yesterday due fog:-

KL1421 Amsterdam B738 PH-BXB diverted to East Midlands
EW9330 Dusseldorf DH4 D-ABQH held as BHX for approx 15 minutes before diverting back to Dusseldorf.

An EasyJet A319 from Lisbon to Bristol is currently on it's way to BHX.
This is due to an aircraft coming off the runway/taxiway at BRS.

Ranger 6 is a airport ops vehicle, most likely a land rover, they now show up on FR24, as they need to show up for Birminghams new ground radar thats being installed!

I believe we saw 4x Easyjet, 2x Ryanair and an EI ATR72 from BRS.

We've also had an Eastern Jetstream from Cardiff.

Enter Air 738 SP-ENM operating to Bristol from Enontekio came straight into Birmingham.

A TUi 757 is currently holding soon to be joined by a KLM E190 and a couple of Ryanairs, hopefully they'll get in as I believe BRS are hoping to open up the runway at 23:00.

Manchester is very foggy at present, around Cat II/Cat III levels so we might see a few diverts, Flybe 175 G-FBJB has just diverted in operating the TLS-MAN flight

Had a TUI from Sal and a Lufthansa from Frankfurt doing laps above my house for the last 30 minutes or so and looking at Flightradar24 they’ve both gone up towards MAN now.

A Lufthansa from Munich is holding now along with a Ryanair in the hold at CHASE.

Airport was snow closed from 22:40 till 00:15, LH from Frankfurt, BE from Glasgow and FR from Verona all held and landed after the airport re-opened, diverted flights TOM from Sal & LH from Munich, re-fuelled and landed before 01:00, just leaves the EK A380 still yet to depart with a 5hour+ delay!

We have a Wizzair A320 HA-LWD from Katowice heading our way.

Fog patches are likely to form during the early part of Wednesday evening, becoming more widespread overnight with the visibility falling below 100 metres in places. Fog will thin slowly later on Thursday morning, although some patches may persist into the afternoon in the west of the warning area

East Midlands snow closed at present, 1 Ryanair 737 EI-DWK FR4459 from Malaga has diverted in, another FR7623 EI-FTN Rzeszow just inbound on diversion too right now
