AA194 (N775AN) just arrived in from Phoenix. Seems to be a couple more possibly looking at diverting in as well looking at the holds down at LHR.

I read that they're having to have a larger distance between arrivals due to low visibility, this would explain the diverts as the stacks are heaving on FR24

It was foggy yesterday, right down from Wycombe to Chessington.

The departure from STN is now showing as cancelled. Is the aircraft still on the ground at BHX and if so, has it gone tech or have crewing problems?
BHX's AI flight today is to ATQ, so possibly the STN pax could travel on that.

Ryanair from Dublin now on approach at MAN with another FR from Madrid holding over the Redditch area. Wizz A320 from cluj and Swiss A319 managed to get in.

Lufthansa, KLM, Air France, Austrian and Flybe all canx.

Luton flights diverting to BHX whilst BHX flights diverting to Liverpool, Edinburgh etc. Seems reasonable
Can't wait for BHX flight diverting to "XYZ" at same time as "XYZ" flight diverting here!

Just watched the Aurigny ATR land at Manchester with an approach speed of 67mph at 4 miles, bit unreal but he got down safe

FR2157 from Malaga circled a few times around BHX now on final approach to Hurn, U21491 from Geneva tried a landing but now on its way to Gatwick, but the EK39 landed on first attempt. Going to be a few coaches trekking back up the motorways this lunchtime!
