I've been made aware that the return flight from Cape Verde back to BHX is delayed - apparently the plane is still at BHX. Does anyone have any further info?

Apparently AA131 has diverted to Boston—according to FR24—and is due to position in from there with an estimated arrival time of 09:52. Since it says "on time" I'm assuming it will arrive today and not tomorrow :D

BHX-bound flights aren't having it easy this morning. Now we have HA-LYL routing WAW-BHX diverting into Poznan.

Well it is the start of the "silly" season so lets get ready for more drama over the next few weeks.

I wonder if those Air France passengers are back home yet after yesterday's scare ??

Both of those flights have now arrived, although the LH Cityline flight from MUC is showing as "diverted to Gothenburg"—this is certainly a glitch and probably happened because the E195 that was expected to operate the BHX flight was switched to GOT and another E195 took its place.

Incidentally this flight is to change to an Airbus in the new year, as LH Cityline hand their E195s over to Austrian and receive the former Eurowings CRJs.

Aircraft are starting to hold as BHX cannot accept inbounds at the moment because the pressure setting equipment has failed.

Crikey, I've never heard of this before.

Nor me, it seems a strange one.

One of the Monarch A321's has broken off from the hold and is descending so hopefully things are sorted now.

The American and United flights arrived at BHX on time this morning, but massive blizzards sweeping up the US east coast mean the return flights have been cancelled. Presumably the American and United planes are still here.

TOM830 to Bridgetown

Anyone know what's happened to this flight? It's supposed to be taking off this morning at 9.50am but has been delayed by 13hrs, and I can't find it on FR24 either. They've checked the passengers into a hotel, with a current prediction of a 2300hrs departure.

Anyone got any info?

The inbound flight (TOM815) that was due to arrive this morning is showing FR24 status "unknown", which usually happens on days of non-operation (planned or unplanned), the aircraft must have gone tech in Barbados.

Bridgetown Thomson Airways TOM 815 06:55 Delayed 21:15

Today's departure to Bridgetown is also showing as delayed until 18:00.

I believe that there may be an Arke 787 coming in to operate the flights, no idea what time though.

Talking of aircraft going tech,is this the reason for yesterday's AAL131 being cancelled?
I noticed the aircraft parked on a remote stand overnight.
It appears that today's flight operated normally though.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
