Yep it was.Was this person a Mr Sedgebeer? I know he was vocal on the subject but can't remember if it was on facebook or twitter. If so then I think he was unlucky as flight was delayed both outbound and on the return.

The 10 hour delay on Alicante has made the papers with the dramatic headline of:
Ten hour flight delay leaves furious holiday makers freezing and starving at Cardiff Airport
Seems the departures lounge had the air con on and 1 passenger didn't bring any cash with them to buy food though Vueling did provide a £15 meal voucher apparently eventually 1 passenger did complain that barely covered the cost of a meal at the aiport. To be fair the Beer House is expensive and the food not the best. Vueling did operate the flight with it departing at 23.47, the Malaga flight departed at 00.08. Considering the negative publicity they have had would've Vueling as a company been better off cancelling the flight? As i have a feeling that wouldn't have the papers.

Per person i believe. There was a photo of the menu showing several items under the £15 and i may be mistaken but i think the Beer House stays open until the last departure of the day.£15 Voucher. Do you know if that is per person or per party?
I ask because at BHX refreshment vouchers are usually around £5 per person, although it varies from airline to airline. Not only that, if your flight is delayed beyond 8pm,actually getting to use the vouchers is difficult as most outlets have closed. Does CWL have the same problem?
Could it be that there are meal vouchers and refreshment vouchers, though not aware of different types of vouchers @ BHX.
At standard airport prices, these vouchers do not go very far.
Apparently it was the air con in the terminal that was freezing people but then if it hadn't been on they would've complained about being hot and sweaty!Freezing on one of the hottest times of the year. I smell a distinct smell of b**lsh*t somewhere.
It would be a shock if it remained like that! Hopefully it means both will be increased! As it stands it appears that BCN has been taken off sale for next summer and ALC is reduced to 1x weekly (Wed) PMI and AGP remains as normal!
Im assuming VY are playing around with schedules but will be interesting to keep an eye on!
Also it's only the Cardiff to Alicante flight that is available not the inbound sector.ALC is reduced to 1x weekly (Wed)
I've checked the Vueling website and BCN for S19 still hasn't been reloaded.
Alicante is a bit weird. At the moment there is only Wednesday loaded for the CWL-ALC flights but for the ALC-CWL flights there is 6 weekly flights loaded with only Friday not seeing a flight.
Malaga is still 5 weekly and Majorca is still 4 weekly.
