I've just seen a twin propliner fly east abeam the airport, heading roughly north at about FL80. Don't know what.

Flying direct overhead 1000 at 36000' is Boeing 737/800 VQ-BOS owned by Bayham Holdings.
The aircraft has been in storage and is routing from Olbia to Kangerlussuq
Another VQ- about to fly overhead, this time Boeing 747/800 VQ-BBH(AZG 4961) of Silk Way West, routing from Ostend to Chicago at 38000'
Overhead 1026, clearly visible

Just got a nice view of the oil tanker B727 that’s enroute to Doncaster. G-ORSB sounded amazing whilst flying over.

0625(Yes I have changed my clocks))))-
Just been woken by the distinctive drone of an A.400M flying over, turns out to have been
15-0051(Turkish Air Force 913) enroute from Ankara to Edinburgh at 32000'

Just passing Sheffield(0710) and routing just West of Bradford Boeing 737/700BBJ A6-RJU(Angola 1)
The aircraft has routed direct from Luanda for the conference in Scotland.

Incidentally the Turkish A.400M landed at Prestwick.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
