USAF AC-130W Stinger II over Bradford at 24000 ft heading North West out of Mildenhall. Could hear its low drone for ages.

Clearly visible at 0812 heading southeast, directly overhead, having departed Prestwick flying at 35000' is

Douglas DC-8-73F N782SP operated by Samaritans Purse. A very rare bird!!

The aircraft was initially delivered to Finnair in 1969 and later operated by the French Air Force

P-68 G-RIPA is cuuently(1200) carrying out survey runs via overhead the airfield at 3500'/ The runs are North-South starting from approx Otley to Batley and gradually heading East

Yesterday what looked like a Boeing AWAC passed directly overhead Cookridge heading South East, presumably towards an East Anglian base. It wasn't high and could be seen clearly once it cleared some scattered cloud.

Last evening there was a Boeing AWAC circling near the coast of Romania (Constanta) presumably keeping an eye on the southern Ukraine Odesa/Crimea region etc. I didn't note the aicraft details but it was in a stationary orbit for a long time at, if memory serves me right, at 37000ft. Maybe this is what you saw.

"Spitfire 97" routing from York via airfield overhead 1215 for flypast at Keighley
Not pinging on radar so serial tie up would be welcome

Passing just west of LBA(Over Bradford 1218) at 24000' heading North-
Dash-8-300 5Y-AWG routing fro Luxemburg to Prestwick
The aircraft is returning to USA to the lessor having been operated in Kenya by Skyward Express

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
