I can confirm It was military. As I guess you must have seen or heard the 3x Army, Lynx Helicopters that were transiting through the LBA zone heading away from Leeds city centre towards the Huddersfield direction this morning.

Sorry I can't supply you with registrations. But I'll ask around for you elsewhere.

Sometimes the Emirates one heading into/out of MAN can be seen flying south of Leeds city centre around between 11-16000ft, along with a PIA 777 and the Beluga.

I see these on a clear day from work when they approach from The east coast, along with Cathay pacific cargo 747 's n various other gulf carriers. You can sometimes see liverpools traffic too.

Looks like we have just had a French Air Force A332 pass over-head.

Callsign: CTM0001
Reg: F-RARF
Altitude: 36000 ft (10973 m)

Looks like she departed from Paris-Orly and is heading over to the states!

There's a G20 summit commencing this week in Mexico, so may be heading there.

Two B748's one after another currently over North Yorks.

One of them BA from Frankfurt - Chicago the other; Atlas Air from Luxembourg - Huntsville!

Don't see that everyday!

For anyone interested a saudi airforce Hercules mc-130 reg HZ-115 flew over Lba at 10,000 ft earlier this afternoon. Its doing a tour of the country by the looks of it as it headed north did a u turn and headed back towards the west coast according to plane finder.

Hi adam. I think what you saw was a Jet2 757 which came right over the top of my house. It was on a 320 heading tracking South of the runway and then did quite a tight turn before landing on 14.

Oh, I forgot to mention the Aer Lingus A320 EI-DES that was heading Eastbound over North Leeds yesterday afternoon at around 5,200ft. Surely the Manchester hold cannot come this far East can it, or was it just storm dodging?

A Boeing 747 Large Cargo Freighter or 'Dreamlifter' has just flown south of Huddersfield at 39,000ft. I managed to get a fairly-decent view from Leeds through binocs despite the hazy skies. I've never seen one before so I'm quite chuffed. :yahoo:

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
