I should have added i hope nobody comes up with that old story of yield. When you look across the apron and see
long serving airlines like Lufthansa,Air France,Aer lingus,Swiss.SAS,United etc very probably at the same time the
yield argument does not add up. BHX/Easyjet is personal

The Saturday Belfast is now back and bookable. Sun-Fri also goes 3x daily every day, where it used to be a mix of 2 and 3 daily.

As per usual some days drop to 2x daily over the peak summer holiday season.

just to confirm Easyjet are re-starting their Geneva flights from Birmingham earlier, from the 26th Sept :-

Tue EZS1491/2 BHX-GVA-BHX 08:30-11:10 / 07:00-07:50 A320
Thu EZS1491/2 BHX-GVA-BHX 07:25-10:05 / 06:05-06:55 A320
Sat EZS1491/2 BHX-GVA-BHX 13:20-16:00 / 12:00-12:50 A320

Could this be the start of all year round operations to Geneva? :)

Hi there ray and all, I couldn't agree anymore with you about easyjet, there's something there that they are afraid that starting up other routes will pull passengers from Luton and so on.. Andyc

Winter up until February.

Geneva returns on Sept 26th at 3x weekly, from December it then rises to 15x weekly.

Grenoble returns Dec 16th and is weekly on a Saturday.

Belfast is 17x weekly.

Great to see Geneva added from September but what are Easyjet upto ?

Surely flights to Geneva would also be popular during the whole of the summer months, after all there will be little snow in Sept/Oct ?? It is a strange one.

During the summer it would be more a lakes and mountains holiday destination. Not to mention a business route as well. From BHX it would be sustainable all year round i would've thought.

I believe that Jet2 will compete next winter on GVA but I can find no carrier from BHX in summer. Is that correct? It seems incredible if it is.

Not really BHX related but apparently on Thursday Easyjet had an overbooked flight on Thursday toToulouse from Gatwick so chose to remove a15 year old unaccompanied child obviously taken a leaf from the United book of customer relations.

Makes Ryanair look quite good.

Geneva now year round according to BHX Social Media page?

Yes I have also seen this, however its hard to tell what they mean as the timetable only goes upto March 2018 anyway ?

It would be great to have Geneva all year round finally. And this would also mean a little Easyjet expansion at BHX :jawdrop:

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
