Oh yes and Jet2 prices can only be described as insane!!

Jet2 prices are pretty high these days, if they're not careful they will start looking traffic to Tui. Not sure how they justify their strap line 'Friendly Low Fares'

I guess you haven't noticed in past, but It's been like this for past few winters, well since Ryanair UK based pilots represented by BALPA agreed they current pay deal.

If you can remember that far back, the was actually threat of base closer at the time. We even went down to 1 based aircraft.

Yes, I renember but I cant help thinking they could keep the based aircraft gainfully employed 7 days a week.

Ryanair have placed an firm order for 150 (+150 option) for Boing 737 max 10 with 228 seats. That should be an interesting site at LBA.

Let’s hope they get new planes Soon. Just had my LBA-AGP 9 June cancelled “due to late delivery of aircraft”. From other forum I see others reporting the same from other airports. I’ve rebooked at no extra cost and with better seats.

If i remember correctly operationally the 737 isn't good in comparison with some other models so I would expect it not to perform as well as the similar sized A321N for example. Hopefully I'll be proved wrong, but does this signal a change in business model for Ryanair and a focus on larger airports.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.

Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.

15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
