Yes I think they've realized that Jet2's insane seat only prices have given them an opportunity...As always they know what to do and have exploited it ..I noticed that Jet2 have quietly abandoned the package tour only dates, if you join their free travel club...good prices and a good airport...All we need now is to get rid of those flat earth Galba morons😂😂

It's that time of year again that Ryanair are messing with the schedules

The Leeds to Bratislava & Paris Beauvais routes no longer on sale for the whole of the winter 2023/24 season.
Both routes were due to operate 2x weekly Fridays & Sundays but the last flights depart November 5th 2023 and look to recommence from March 15th 2024.
interesting one that they have cut BTS when they literally just increased it? Hopefully a glitch. Looks like BHX BTS has gone also.

Seems as the Leeds-Bradford to Warsaw Modlin route is unaffected for now and remains 4x weekly up until end of October and 2x weekly for winter 2023/24 season

I see Manchester's Ryanair service swaps to Warsaw Chopin. But we also have that route already covered by Wizz Air up to 2x weekly.

We are presently sat having a welcome coffee in FUE airport...checking FR shows the inbound to be EI IHJ unusually a MAX on this route...looking forward to trying one..
The airport is less than busy but easy to negotiate, very efficient but friendly security overseen by the police as opposed to here...Maybe they should try that at Manchester 😃..
Had a good holiday but ready to come home...I'll keep you posted..

Interesting that here there is no self service bag tag etc ..It's the old fashioned queue at a desk

I was playing golf on the 14th at Horsforth this afternoon when you landed (the 14th being directly at the side of the runway , 32 touch down). You were rocking a bit on finals but couldn't see the actual touch down.

We certainly were, was the Captains landing, shame you missed the touchdown though....It would have been spectacular...not especially hard but massive braking action, so much we had to put our hands out on the seat in front to prevent forward movement..Interesting...The Max can stop quickly when required.

Probably slammed on to avoid having to go to the end, round the loop, and backtrack. When it's busy (as it was), once in that loop you can be there a while waiting for inbounds to land.

I completely agree, spectacular though it was, it did seem to be planned and had a reason for it..Also the crew were finishing for the day after a silly O Clock start and didnt want to hit the rush hour!!

Now aircraft who miss the turn off have to taxi to the end of the runway and taxi back I wonder if aircraft that brake harder than normal to avoid having to do that will cause more wear and tear to the runway surface? Wasn’t the reason for not allowing u-turns any more to lessen runway wear?

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
