Im sure ryanair used to operate a few flights a week to cork back in the day, early 90s i believe with their BAC 1-11s or was it BIA?I was also reading recently that passenger figures at Cork are soaring and LBA is one of the UK airports previously served, but no longer. The problems being experienced at Dublin relating to passenger throughout approaching the maximum permitted, suggests Cork could become more important and Ryanair would be the ideal airline to operate the route.
Well i certainly recall seeing ryanair BAC 1-11s at LBA Flying to an irish destination.I only ever remember BMI Regional and Are Arran op to ORK from LBA but happy to stand corrected on that one. But yes could be another interesting possibility
Try Knock.Well i certainly recall seeing ryanair BAC 1-11s at LBA Flying to an irish destination.
Yes was Knock. Seemed to be full of nuns and priests on most flights! In the he past we've had Cork, Galway, Shannon, Knock as well as Dublin, Belfast City and Belfast International, but how times change!Well i certainly recall seeing ryanair BAC 1-11s at LBA Flying to an irish destination.
Yes, for a while they did Shannon. Was Shannon a Ryanair destination from LBA. I seem to remember the timings were not great!
Fairly typical Ryanair then just as it was with Porto. Keep the pressure on. Let's hope it goes the way if Porto, and not the way of Vilnius where we lost a busy route due to their fallout.Well it looks like Ryanair's dispute with Warsaw Modlin Airport continues with further cuts been made.
Good news is that the Leeds route is not mentioned, so it remains on sale up until March 29th, but the is nothing bookable afterwards/start of summer 2024 schedule.
Looks like Ryanair have resolved their dispute with WMI as the Leeds to Warsaw Modlin route is now on sale throughout Summer 2024.
We must be over the 100 weekly FR departures for S24 now!
