Birmingham: Airport - Video Thread

Just been to LHR for a few days and this is very common. As one was landing, you could see 4 aircraft on approach and as soon as it cleared the runway, another was on "finals".
The ATC "ladies and Gentlemen" certainly earn their money.

Events like this are usually accompanied with " expect a late landing clearance". It happens all the time at many busy airports, but I suppose that comes as a surprise at BHX .

Another excellent video from Flugsnug. The spray makes for wonderful shots and I really liked the views down BHX's rollercoaster of a runway.
From the title, I was half expecting it to be overlaid with a classic Dire Straits track.

I've booked with Thomson next year hoping for a 757 flight, there's been one on the MAH route this year.

If anybody has headphones, plug them in, turn up the volume and play all the videos at once, what a noise

Or, even broaden it to cover favourite flights with explanations, regarding aircraft type, significance of said flight and anything unusual or special about that flight.
I did think of starting a thread myself, but you asked about it first and I wouldn't want to steal your thunder - pardon the pun!

The 757 is the only 'modern' twinjet that i can honestly say i like. I think its because I love the shape of the nose and the long undercarriage legs and also because came into service just as i started going to the new terminal. Was nice to fly on a Monarch example in the old colours.

The Emirates 777 in this video is the delayed EK38 which departed at lunchtime on Thursday.
