B737 BBJ HB-IJJ left Air Livery in SAS colours. It remains in private configuration and will be used on the new SAS route between GOT and JFK.

The TCS B757 will leave the hangar today, and Virgin A330-300 G-VRAY arrived last night to enter the hangar after the B757 leaves.

Been a while since I updated this.

I have no idea what is in Air Livery, not seen anything out of the ordinary arrive.

MAEL has N727FD FedEx A300 in for weekend work.

Thomas Cook has D-ABUA B767-300 of Condor inside, but not sure if anything else is in there, given TCX sent G-OMYT to MAEL at BHX.

Air livery has not been quiet, its had a procession of Condor B767's through, as well as a FedEx A300.

Sorry user001 i take that back :whiteflag: I just wrote as was on another page. if im going to be shot down dont think ill be posting on this page in the future

Manchester hangar movements

British Airways A320 G-TTOB has been in the MAEL hangar receiving some urgent maintenance. Should depart some time tomorrow as BA9125.

Due 31st at 0600 is AFL7634 Aeroflot A330 for Air Livery.

Condor B767-300 D-ABUE left the TCX hagar earlier, there is another Condor B767 and a few other TCX aircraft in there too.

British Airways A320 G-TTOB is still having landing gear checks in the Monarch Hangar as far as I know.

I always write my times as 24 hour times.

The Aeroflot A330 was VP-BLX. Arrived bang on time and is now in the Air Livery hangar.

I'm surprised this wasn't canned because of the spat between the West and Russia over the Ukraine.

I'm surprised this wasn't canned because of the spat between the West and Russia over the Ukraine.

Outside of the political spat, business seems to be running as usual between Russia and 'the west'. Lets not forget, Aeroflot sponsors Manchester United, and, given the good condition of the paint work on the A330, I would not be surprised to see this come out in a special Man U livery.....

I'm not aware of any sanctions against aircraft maintence and re-paint. In terms of re-paints, I'm not sure why there would be sanctions or what they would be.

Like I say, aside from routes to the Ukraine, Western and Russian aviation seems to be continuing 'as you were', including the lucrative Russian overflight rights from Europe to Asia by Western carriers.

After this Aeroflot, the next aircraft due is Air Austral B777-300ER F-ONOU to be painted in the new 'landscapes' livery (which should be stunning looking at the renders). Due on 17th at 1800.

This will also be the first visit of a B777-300 to Air Livery.

There should be 2 more Air Austral B77W after this one, F-OREU and F-OSYD.

The Aeroflot A330 has been pulled out of Air Livery, and will head out to Dublin tomorrow. It will continue its paint job over there as Dublin have the templates for the special livery.

TUI B737 D-ATUE is heading in next, as there is a small gap before the Air Austral B777-300 on 17th.

Well the Aeroflot has departed alright but NOT going in the direction of Dublin, looks like its going home. Any ideas if this will return to MAN at some point?

Apparently the rumour about DUB came from DUB, there were slots in their system for the Aeroflot.

Its cleared a lot of things up, as people were questioning why it would come to MAN if it needed to go to DUB too.

Air Austral B77W F-ONOU left MAN today, operating MAN-CDG-REU.

B77W F-OREU operated REU-CDG-MAN today to be painted up.

Love the new tail on the Austral, and will try and link a Picture if I can.

Iberia A340-600 due Tuesday at 1000 as IB9930 for Air Livery.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
