So, was this also a divert or was it an altered flight plan, with the intention of arriving at BHX?Dropping off parts for BML as it went tech on arrival, both aircraft will head up to MAN later tonight.
I saw it on FR24 approaching MAN from the north east, so assumed that was where it was heading.
Another point regarding Shaheen Air, is that their 'minimums' must be quite high. All the while that last nights flight was holding north of MAN, other aircraft were getting in (one Flybe did a missed approach, but landed later). Even when there was nothing else on approach or holding, the Shaheen Air continued to hold. This would indicate that it was waiting for an improvement in visibility to above that which other aircraft were able to operate.
I'm aware that many factors influence the minimums, including aircraft equipment and crew qualification.
