Berlin shows Tue, Wed and Thur going daily in Nov but they're 1 stop flights.

So far PMI is only on sale for May and June.

Excellent news! It was such a busy service with CŠA/Smartwings, always full A319/738. Nice to see this demand and traffic being taken over by EW. I think EW will offer the perfect product to suit both leisure and business traveller too.

Birmingham-Palma route looks to have been pushed back to September 2nd. Missing the summer holidays which seems a bit strange to do. This is the same with the Manchester route.

This could be the case as I’ve heard other people say that. As demand to the Belerics is massive I assume that this why. considering Lufthansa are planning on using widebodys there.

the reality is, these flights were put on sale at a time when a) the UK Vaccine program was steaming ahead and it looking to allow the UK to open up travel and b) the rest of europes vaccine program was lagging with no prospect of opening up. it made sense to shift capacity to the UK

This has now changed. Not only has Europe started to catch up with the UK on their vaccine program (esp germany) but now Europe is openign up BEFORE the UK. consequently, the reason for shifting capcity from Europe to the UK has now gone!

I doubt this route will ever start!

On arrival Eurowings aircraft alone outnumbered all British aircraft by 3 or 4 to 1. Even considering they have a base in Palma, its still a far larger presence than the usual British one.

Condor are flying in 757-300's and 767's multiple times each day.

Heard lots of French and German accents, but hardly any British.

We are miles behind Europe on travel atm.

I'm sure I read somewhere that Lufthansa were scheduling their 747 8s onto the Palma to Frankfurt route to cope with the demand.

I read that it was A346s being saved from scrapping, 5 units I believe unsold. Operating out from Munich to US destinations.
