Looks like the TFS route went to BRS instead.
Ryanair already operate Tenerife from Bristol and originally they started it at CWL as a winter route I believe so always a possibility for next winter!

It's good to see CWL publishing these announcements, they have made the two main travel industry weekly editions plus Wales on line.

Well didn't see Belfast coming! Good news to see them adding more but personally I was hoping they'd go for Cork. Let's hope it doesn't drive Aer Lingus away.

The fares will definitely encourage passengers on board versus EIR.

But not sure CWL needs a duplicate route in these times - a whole new route would’ve been ideal.

Good to see more commitment from FR though nonetheless

It does mean that for Summer 2023 Belfast will have 9 weekly departures 7 from Aer Lingus and 2 from Ryanair.

Makes me wonder if we could end seeing them launching Edinburgh as well?

I agree that EDI should be the next target for FR!

LM havnt shown any indication of increasing frequency and did earlier for EXT and SOU!

FR just recently announced BOH-EDI on EDI a/c so not out of the question!

Back in the BE days, we was getting 100k plus on EDI, as it stands this year we are projecting just under 20k!

Maybe Loganair are happy with the money they make on the present number of flights.
They may well be and they may not have the means to add extra frequency even if they wanted to and that's the dilmena for CWL if it wants to get it's passenger numbers back to pre covid levels. Edinburgh was one of it's major top 5 routes and now it's not even potentially going to even get 50% of those pre pandemic numbers back.

It seems similar to the LBA schedule with Easyjet. 3 airlines doing Belfast (2 to city and 1 to international) and all still operating on as far as I know so can’t see why it can’t from CWL with both Belfast airport options.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
