Two on Friday too. One is a midnight flight on Saturday morning. Is there something on?
Only rugby on the weekend but that's Wales v South Africa not sure whether there's an event in Dublin but also it maybe a case that Ryanair had free slots and wanted to use them and Cardiff persuaded them to use them to fly to Cardiff.

The extra flight is for the Dragons v Leinster on Friday evening, I believe.
That's interesting because in the past Leinster would've flown in on a dedicated charter but now it seems Ryanair has added an extra flight instead giving more options for other people.

Tenerife is now onsale for Winter 2026-27
1 weekly departure on Wednesdays
TFS-CWL 09.10-13.25 CWL-TFS 14.00-18.15

I wonder why Tenerife gets put onsale a lot earlier than other routes.

It is always early but I also do not understand why it has remained at 1 weekly, especially in winter. It is a very popular route from CWL. It has been twice weekly in the past.

Yep I wonder why its early as for the frequency it may well be because of the size of the base there. To get more frequency Ryanair may need to grow the base there.

Ryanair adds over 1500 extra seats to/from Cardiff Airport for Xmas 2025. Ryanair expects to carry over 4,500 passengers through Cardiff Airport this Christmas.
They'll be flying to 3 destinations
Alicante, Dublin & Tenerife.

Looks like Dublin will go daily for Summer 2026. There's a Wednesday flight loaded but not onsale times aren't great DUB-CWL 22.25-23.25 CWL-DUB 23.50-00.50 but it also means Ryanair will operate on every day of the week into Cardiff.
Dublin 7 weekly
Malaga 5 weekly
Alicante 4 weekly

10.25 Alicante

That’s great. My only issue is that most of their Dublin flights for S26 are on the late side and the loads might not be so great. Having said that, it’s a great opportunity to introduce a morning flight on some dates 😉

I'm sure the airport will be working to get the times changed, at the moment i suspect Cardiff is being used to essentially maximise the use of their aircraft and use late slots but they must be happy with the route to keep expanding. Hopefully we might see some more frequency added on Fridays, Sundays and Mondays to give more options for the weekend. But it does mean capacity wise Dublin is now back to its pre covid levels. Its a shame that they're not operating Edinburgh to help regain that but still time to hope they'll take it on.

Unfortunately it looks like Ryanair has cut the Sunday Malaga flight so Cardiff will go back to 19 weekly departures except in October where it remains 5 weekly.

I’m not sure this has been reported yet, but in October 2026 Ryanair will run 2 services every Friday on the CWL - DUB route.

That will be:
CWL-DUB 7:45-8:45
CWL-DUB 22:45-23:45

DUB-CWL 6:20-7:20
DUB-CWL 21:20-22:20

It would be great if they bring that double Friday service forward to cover June to October. There’s also plenty of other late departures for the summer schedule which could accommodate a second daily service.

Perfect for day trippers too!

That's really good news. Hopefully we'll see them add more. It would mean they're 21 weekly in October.

It looks like Ryanair might be increasing Malaga to 5 weekly. There are flights loads loaded on Sundays between June and October but not on sale yet. That would be 20 weekly departures.

The flight is on sale now. Hoping we might see more. If they are loading extras for June to October I'm still hoping they'll add Mallorca.

It was originally 5x weekly with a Sunday flight when they released Summer 26, then cut that Sunday flight except in October. Interesting they've brought it back.
I wonder if those already booked on it had cancellations, and subsequently rebooked, or if they just stopped sales.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
