Does Aer Lingus have A319s? I thought they got rid of them. Do we know what percentage of LBA passengers are using DUB to transit to US?

Aer Lingus doesn't have A319s it has A320s and A321s.Maybe this might be an incentive to upgrade to main fleet A319's
Quite right. Don't even know why I put 319. 320's would be fine.No they only have A320s and A321s

Thats a good suggestion. As they are part of BA (IAG) they could offer interlining at Heathrow. Might be a good idea for the airport to raise the possibility with them especially since nothing seems to have come from the Loganair negotiations.Good old Aer Lingus, in their various frames, forms and franchises have never been far away from Leeds Bradford Airport over the decades. Much the same story at Bristol. Even with their frequent operational difficulties with the ATR72, Aer Lingus have stuck with us. Perhaps they can do the Heathrow flights for us.
We can but hope. When you think that even in the early 70s we had Aer Lingus operating 737 and 1-11 aircraft on the DUB route alongside BKS/Northeast with their Viscount 800s. Prior to that it was DC3, F27 and Viscount 800s.Maybe this might be an incentive to upgrade to main fleet A319's
It's not long ago that we only had one operator to Paris and now we have 3. Ryanair as you say do a great job with the point-to-point market but Aer Lingus also serve the interlining market and putting jets on would no doubt make a positive impactWe can but hope. No idea why they then left it to British Airways but when they did return it was the godawful Shorts 330, then the Shorts 360, Saab 340, then the Fokker F50 and now the ATR72. I cant help but wonder if we would have Airbus aircraft now were it not for the excellent capacity provided by Ryanair.
Emerald are now going the LGW/GLA flights for BA so could be a possibility. Not sure how it would work without a base.Thats a good suggestion. Three operators but not attractive for business travellers, hence Im forced to fly from MAN. Frustrating. It's not long ago that we only had one operator to Paris and now we have 3. If and its a big if it wouldn't be mainline Aer Lingus, it would be Emerald Airlines operating ATRs.Thats a good suggestion. As they are part of BA (IAG) they could offer interlining at Heathrow. Depends on what's in it for them.Would Aer Lingus want to dilute their own long haul ops down the road though?
Depends on what's in it for them.
Who? Why haven't they already? They may as well jump onto the Heathrow route, if they dont someone else not in the IAG group will.
Aer Lingus.Who? Why haven't they already?
