Hmm I'm not a Twitter account holder. Why don't they allow e-mail?

Ray Finkle said:Just browsing the Norwegian website and Malaga looks to have sold very well with many flights throughout May, June, July and Aug already sold out and some very high fares on others. Madrid looks a bit of a mixed bag with some months still showing some very low fares and others much higher or sold out, I guess it's slightly more business orientated where people tend to book later but if you want a bargain there are plenty available. It's probably a bit early for Barcelona as it doesn't start until June but the fares are much higher than Madrid.
Madrid probably would be better served by Vueling or Iberia Express so people can feed onto Iberia's long haul network but if Norwegian can make it work then I'm happy.
It's a shame we couldn't have got Alicante and a couple of Canaries destinations for the summer as I reckon they would have done well. Hopefully we'll see TFS and LPA for winter.
Also when I told Mrs Finkle of the prices for Malaga she said "who's that with?" when I told her Norwegian she gave me a very quizzical look and said "Norwegian? Malaga is in Spain?"![]()

A maverick Norwegian airline that has promised to upend the transatlantic market with super-low fares is planning to change flags and become a British carrier.
Norwegian Air Shuttle, which last year launched budget flights between Gatwick airport and America on new 787 Dreamliners, is understood to have set up a British subsidiary that it intends to use to evade a row over its transatlantic expansion.
Norwegian is believed to be behind Westforce Aviation, a company that was set up in December and is fronted by two aviation lawyers from the London law firm Ince & Co.
In January, Westforce applied to the Civil Aviation Authority for an operating licence to run charter and schedule fights — the type of licence designed for large airlines such as British Airways, Virgin Atlantic and easyJet.

They also said there 'could be new routes in W15' for BHX. If so I wonder if an announcement will coincide with the lauch next week.
