Pegasus are adding scheduled flights to Manchester this year, instead of just chartered flights to Antalya for Thomas Cook.

New flights begin May 18th and operate to Dalaman. Onward connections to Istanbul SAW are available on their website too. Friday flight available via GDS but not on their main site yet.

PC5174 MAN 0805 DLM 1420

Fridays

PC5173 DLM 0700 MAN 0940
PC5174 MAN 1030 DLM 1645

Mondays

Both flights use B737-800.

Pegasus were quoted as saying they were looking at LBA/LPL/MAN for scheduled flights to Istanbul. While not quite direct to Istanbul, MAN must be the front runner for these flights now.

The flights in the above post operate again in summer 2016.

As well as the proposed daily Istanbul Sabhia Ghoken, Pegasus have now loaded a direct flight to Bodrum on their website too.

PC5234 MAN 1940 BJV 0145

Monday's from 30th May.

Looks like Pegasus are finally getting round to loading Istanbul Sabhia Ghoken to Manchester flights.

Connections via Bodrum and Dalaman have temporarily been taken off sale, and now all other days around the flights now show 'lowest price' instead of 'no flights available':

It looks like SAW won't happening at least this year.

Seats to SAW are now back on sale via DLM and BJV and saying no flights for other days.

It's still coming Comet.

Slots have only just been put in for SAW. Will be daily from 1st July. Official announcement in Feb.

Exactly the same thing happened with LGW last year.

Pegasus will not run the 2nd weekly flight to Dalaman this year.

The Friday flight had been chartered by Jewel in the crown holidays, who have now gone into administration.

They will still operate the Monday Bodrum and Dalaman flights, and still intend to launch daily flights to SAW on 1st July, flight arrives 1120 and departs 1210.

I think companies are struggling to sell holidays to Turkey this year because of Turkey's proximity to Syria and the associated migrant crisis.

Did MAN-SAW ever operate?

Bodrum won't operate with Pegasus this year, with just the 1 weekly flight to Dalaman.

Following on from ethanegcc's post from 2017 it seems that Pegasus are once again sniffing at Manchester for a scheduled service as follows:

Pegasus (PC) – PC9910/1 new proposed daily SAW (Sabiha Gokcen) with B737-800 1130/1210z eff.31Mar.

Pegasus have added extra night-time flights from SAW starting within the next few weeks, frequency will vary between 9 and 13x weekly.

Summer 2020
Pegasus (PC) – Increase Dalaman from once to three per week. Monday currently held as scheduled service and now Friday and Saturday added as charter series. (Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen continues to operate seven per week meaning ten flights per week for PC).

Antalya is a new route for this summer, starting May 29th and operating wednesday and Saturday.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
