The snag with that as it was with the late summer announcement this year is that some people will have made alternative arrangements which will automatically reduce loads from their full potential if there had been a longer lead-in period.That appears to be what happened before. WOW are in a stage of fast growth and holding onto potentially under performing routes is only going to hold them back. I think this one will be a case of wait and see how the rest of the summer
Given that United are scaling back at bigger airports than BRS, and American have already done so, this sort of link is BRS's only hope for a scheduled transatlantic connection in the foreseeable future. How important it is given that KLM and Aer Lingus provide similar transatlantic links as do, to a lesser degree, Lufthansa (via bmir codeshare) and Brussels Airlines I don't know. It's always good to have more options but they have to be viable for the airline.
