The BAe-100 looks so small…

Great picture, due to the wings mounted above the fuselage the bae-146s were low to the ground. The bac 1-11s were quite a small looking plane esp next to the fatter 737s but the b727s always looked much larger than the 737s due to been a bit longer and their chunkier T tail and 3rd engine. Was lucky to fly on a dan air b727 as a child back in i believe 1988.

yes the 100series variant which again looks a fab aircraft in its shorter length, I've always loved the shape of the cockpit front of the 727s and 737s which are ob the same aircraft fuselage but the shape of the rear T tail and tail mounted engine is the icing on the cake for me!

The 727 200 was my all time favourite aircraft. They looked superb in the climb out. So sleek and graceful.

At one time, Steve Heapy mentioned the A220 as an option to replace the 733s, but then nothing was ordered to replace the numerous 733s retired since, and not only that, the A320NEO order was converted to A321NEO, suggesting Jet2 has no intention of buying smaller aircraft for thinner routes.
It's a shame as tge A220 is a lovely aircraft, but Im sure the continual P&W engine issues that have blighted various aircraft types, haven't done it any favours.

I was reading an article last week saying that Egyptair had to scrap a 5- year-old A220 due to the P&W engine problems.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
