As far as I know.
Great! I would love to experience what is supposed to be a very reputable airline. They are however leasing some Kenya Airways 787-8s which have an inferior product to WY's. Let's just hope it is the original WY 788s operating to MAN.

The flights aren't yet bookable on Oman Air's website, despite User001 saying they were supposed to be bookable 15th Sept. Are they still supposed to be bookable, if not now, when?

Hope there aren't any delays to the service, given Emirates will carry 1m passengers this year, it would be interesting to see how many of those passengers were connecting to destinations that could now be available via Oman Air?

Okay, do you know when they will be fully bookable and confirmed by the airport?

MAG need to do some advertising on this - Oman Air have confirmed it on their press releases.

No indications at this time, but still on for a 1st April launch.

MAN will probably advertise once flights are bookable, wasting resources advertising something people can't buy at this time.

Oman Air gave a press conference today outlining in general, where the company is, and where it's going.

One of the quotes direct from the CEO in this conference was that a daily Manchester flight would be the highlight of the summer 2017 schedule.

Thus, now it's come from the CEO, it should be bookable soon. The Oman air website states it will be down later on tonight, so, hopefully Manchester will appear when it comes back on.

Great that it is now confirmed by a CEO and hopefully be bookable soon!

CAN is also being launched on 9th Dec, how do the times tie in I wonder?
The range of connections are superb, I am confident Oman Air will advertise this. Will MAG confirm it soon then User and are the times going to be similar to previously mentioned?

No worries. There is t really anything new, but, given its been a while since the initial announcement and it's gone quiet, it was to rest assure that everything is still progressing

So do you think it may be bookable after thewebsite 'maintenance'?

I certainly hope so just to make it completely 'official'!

Its good to hear the CEO talking about the flights. The article does however say its still subject to Board approval so not quite definite yet but I would hope the board will be a formality.

It would be a very disjointed board if the CEO makes public comment on this only to be shot down after the event. I'm sure they will have a consensus on this.

Board approval will be fine. Not a worry at all.
Reassuring to hear but I suppose this means no booking for a while again. Fingers crossed for before Christmas - I was getting my hopes up for tonight as I am looking forward to seeing the prices, great potential for a holiday!

I have no evidence that the route was to go on sale tonight, I merely commented that there had been this conference today and the website just happens to be down tonight.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
