Fair enough if people want to tease us with bits of information but dont go putting it all over FFA that certain people get special messages and expect the rest of us to grovel. :(

I've just realised that Ian's post has not resulted in any kind of discussion on who the airline may be.
When i say discussion usually a list that eventually covers every airline and usually peters out when people
start taking the p**s :)

Another airline leaving ?

Although many have taken @IanFarquharson post as a fact or statement, the inclusion of a question mark suggests nothing as fact.

Purely from a forum housekeeping perspective no rules have been broken. Is his post provocative? There's no name calling, no inuendos of any kind.

Does his post stimulate debate? His post has without a doubt stimulated debate and at a time when the forums have been incredibly quiet as people take their summer holidays.

I think we are all suffering from the jitters and Ian's post has had a negative response. When we all went feral trying to guess what turned out to be Primera, it was a bit of a laugh and fun.

If another airline ia leaving us and my money is on anyone of them, then yes best to know, but I hope it is not true.

Any idea why they all route via Kiev? Is that due to restrictions on flights between Europe and Iraq as I'm sure the 737 can make the distance non-stop?

Agreed. If you’ve got something to say, share with everyone, not just a priveleged few.

The thread needed some postings, I just wish I had some postive rumours !

When there is something worthwhile to discuss I’m sure we will all join in the debate but I don’t see a need in posting for postings sake.

Flight numbering seems to be very confusing. Most start as BAY302 to IEV and then changes to another number for the rest of the route.

It makes it look like a strange setup.

I wonder about the future of PIA at Birmingham?

Passenger numbers down 30% in April, most flights by the smaller B772’s, usual rumours of PIA losing money, after all these years could they be the next to leave? Do passengers now prefer to fly to Pakistan via Dubai on Emirates?

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. It only takes a couple of minutes to upload a news story with an accompanying image. The news items can then be shared on the site homepage by you. #TakePart #Forums4airports Bring the news to one place!
survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
