PIA still ban & still facing court hearing over unpaid checks to Hi Fly & Jordon Aviation. PIA will not be returning to the UK any time good but that is good news for Air India, Emirates, Saudia, Qatar & Turkish. Keeps the good demand for them.

Turkmenistan does not make a song & dance when they plan to start a new route. When Sean on twitter posted that they was flying into STN it was because it was on the booking site. If it not on it booking site then it's not coming. But 2024 slots will be published in October so will see BHX get anything else of interest.

I don’t think air India is beneficial from PIAs loss due to the counties both not having a nice relation

I believe Azerbaijan Airlines only Serve LHR or used to Uzbekistan again not really sure Uzbekistan if they serve LHR. Baku and Uzbekistan are probably well served by Turkish Airlines Connections or Lufthansa they used to have lots of flights to that area maybe its Kazakhstan they serve. There to niche I don't even think BA fly there from LHR and If Azerbaijan or Uzbekistan serve LHR I am sure it ay Daily from what I can remember flying out of LHR last year they flew out of Terminal 4

Not quite certain why you are mentioning "London Airways" (BA) for? don't think they have ever served Tashkent, and currently don't serve Baku.

I don't see the demand for those routes from BHX, even if they offered onward connections to South Asia. We are well covered for current demand with Air India, Qatar, Saudia, Emirates and Turkish.

I know that's what I'm saying anything small demand to those regions Lufthansa who I saw a YouTube Video and on FR24 fly there daily or did and Turkish probably have covered it

Also unrelated but yesterday I was watching Kev's stream and a guy who claims to work at Birmingham said that Singpore could fly to Birmingham on a 77W or A350 he said was excited to see I then challenged him and he said they were in talks and that he worked at Birmingham. I wasn't falling for it now can someone tell Me if I'm wrong here The only people who will know if they are in talks is Mangenent which means he shouldn't leak that information on the Internet. If on the off-chance he works at the Tower or Ground and he does know maybe gossip again I feel he shouldn't be leaking that onto a Stream with a fair load of people watching live and who will watch after. Could jepordise talks ultimately I would like it to be true but I doubt it not trying to get the guy or Kev into trouble but want clarity for Own sake that he shouldn't be leaking that

There are flights starting to Singapore winter 2024/5 but with TUI to link up with the companies Marella Cruises.

So perhaps he is getting mixed up with those.

I can see Singapore Airlines looking at BHX in the future. Once they have maxed out all the decent available slots out of Manchester.

Singapore will likely go daily at Manchester before adding any more UK airports, and even then, I suspect they'd probably go for EDI before BHX.

They've had pretty much all their A350's delivered now, with the B777X not due until 2025 at least, so new routes will likely have to wait for then when the 777X will replace 777-300s on routes, then those 777-300s replace A350's leaving those aircraft to launch the new routes.

Imho I wouldn’t hold my breath for Singapore at BHX. Agree with the points Coathanger16 made above - that exact feeling is there for Cathay as well.

I don't agree........there's always a chance. You probably have aspirations that your local airport might get Qantas, Air New Zealand or any new american airline. I wouldn't go on to your local airport thread and voice my negativities about it never getting them.....because I don't know. BHX will get what it gets. Nowt you or I can do to influence the outcome. Coathanger has made an informed approach to his reply.....what was your approach?

Oh no I'm not holding my Breath and no this guy seemed pretty adadment it was Singapore he mentioned A350 and 77W and someone asked him about there A380 he said he didn't know. All I want to know is if this is true 1 assuming talks are happening would only Mangement know which would mean he was 2 is there a slight chance through Gossip and rumour that other workers know and 3 if any of this in the remotest true should the guy be splashing on an Internet live stream. If he shouldn't then should I let Kev know baring in mind he and BHX aren't exactly on Great terms to make the Stream Private so no one can accuse him of spreading mis information or leaking secrets and to possibly report the guy for releasing it assuming he does work at BHX. I assume they would take it seriously. All I want to know is If he should have leaked it. I feel like this ay something that you don't Leak because it could Jeopardise something.

You are right, the only people who would have inside knowledge of talks with airlines would be the airport management. If this guy who claims to work for BHX, had such knowledge and divulged it on a YouTube livestream, then I doubt he works there any more.

I’ve noticed that you use this as a put down on anyone who dare disagree with you that happens to live outside of the West Midlands.

Everyone is entitled an opinion and no one’s opinion counts less because they live in a different part of the country. FYI, I’m a frequent user of both ‘my local airport’ and BHX. Even if I wasn’t, there is no justification to attack other members out of the blue simply because they happen to hold a different opinion to yours. No one is expecting Qantas or Air New Zealand at Manchester. Of course, it would be fantastic to see Singapore start at BHX- no one is doubting that.

So is it worth letting Kev know so he can make it Private so he doesn't get in trouble or is it worth leaving so the Airport could identify the guy by his ID and take appropriate action. It ay Kev's fault I guess
