Been enjoying myself on Tui Skyla 😊

Indeed, All of these routes were meant to happen but over the next few years but unsure if they will go ahead I’ve hinted at them a few times 👀
Great to have you back on board.

I wonder if any of those routes have anything to do with the night flying policy?

The list of Ryanair new routes is a wish list not factual !
Out of the wishlist some of them were planned for S25 /or are currently planned for winter 25,

Copenhagen was to start 1st April 2025 was loaded at 2 weekly Tuesday’s and Friday’s but has since been removed.
Cologne was to start 1st April 2025 was loaded at 2 weekly Tuesday’s and Saturday’s but has since been removed.

Both Katowice and Vienna is currently planned to resume November 2025.

Any idea if Dalaman or Bodrum will be operating next summer?

current Ryanair based aircraft flghts for summer 2025 (based on August):-

A few flights, (ones underlined) appear to show the flights on the B738 on their website, but would imaging they will be B7M8 flights, so they fit in the schedule.

Madrid is showing 4 weekly, a 5th Saturday morning flight is showing grayed out on the Ryanair website, nothing on google flights, so maybe work in progress?
Warsaw Modlin (WMI) flights are show 1x Weekly up to the 25th May only, so might we see this extended into the rest of summer?

all subject to change!

Looks like most RK routes have been removed after march and probably being updated.
Tirana
Derry
Marrakesh
Agadir
All should be bookable soon it’s just because they waiting for approval from CAA to continue the current practice of wet lease the DAC aircraft to operate the individual RUK flights rather then moving over additional aircraft to RUK .

In that case wouldn't they just suspend sales for a while? Reports on other forums that they've sent cancellation emails out to booked pax.

They are planning for the worst case scenario, which will be CAA saying no it has to be operated by G reg aircraft. If they do it will be a logistical nightmare and take months because they will have to find personals who have UK licenses and train them and that’s if they even think it’s economical viable with it being a small part of the company.

The wet lease agreement was always meant to be temporary as Ryanair have been pushing CAA for a few years to allow DAC employees to work on RUK by have a similar agreement to DAC and Malta air has which is complete a simple PowerPoint presentation with the differences so can work for both airlines (same with Wizz Air).

It's much simpler with Ryanair DAC/Buzz/Malta Air as they are all EU airlines operating under EASA regulations. The UK no longer operates under EASA which makes things more complicated for airlines wanting to operate different AOCs interchangeably.

If they've cancelled bookings for booked passengers and are offering refunds/alternatives then it doesn't look like they're confident of a resolution.

Perhaps they don't think moving more aircraft over the the G- register and finding appropriately licensed staff is worth the hassle then those EI/9H/SP can operate any EU route.

So whilst we will unlikely ever know what the details regarding the above routes are, am i right in concluding that the AGA/RAK/TIA/LCY are BHX Based aircraft with EU registrations which RYR were using a work-round to use on non-EU routes?

If so, there are two possible outcomes:

a) RYR are working with the CAA to re-instate the work-around and re-instate the above routes, but as flights are taken off sale suggest that there is a real risk, the CAA wont agree?

b) RYR will use the A/C on other routes out of BHX as this is better than those flights/planes standing empty? or

c) RYR will move the flights elsewhere outside the UK in protest?

Are those the scenarios we are looking for?

Knowing Ryanair I bet it will be option C as they tend to throw the toys out and then creep back after a few months with excuses

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
