Supply & Demand. And price is all led by computer alga rhythms.

I'm sure all MAD flights from MAN have also risen in price, via options too, and with Tottenham now in the final i wouldn't be surprised to see London prices rising. These people need to quit their moaning and get imaginative. EDI-MAD? BRS-MAD?

It's already been suggested in press that fans are travelling miles from their home for flight tickets, Edinburgh etc. There are going to be charters too LPL-MAD but also dear.

What also comes to my mind is Easyjet are not always as supportive of LPL as they could be and will move routes or reduce them, for a long time they ignored the base. However they are still happy to charge a fortune on a LPL-MAD when the opportunity arises . It will be interesting to see if EZY will add any extra capacity .

Re finding flights from BRS or EDI, there are no cheap easyJet fares from BRS for those wanting to be in Madrid for the Final.

easyJet BRS-MAD:

29 May £216
30 May £523
31 May £758
1 June £612
2 June £43

easyJet MAD-BRS
1 June £194
2 June £745
3 June £424
4 June £233
5 June £113
6 June £112
7 June £77 (getting back to normal)

With Bristol not having had top flight football for 40 years there are numerous supporters of England's 'big clubs' in the Bristol area, many of whom follow them to matches. Liverpool and Spurs are two clubs who have a very big following in the West Country.

Come on people get imaginative?. You have still got to travel to the likes of Bristol paying more in travel costs when you have a local airport on your doorstep that you would use for most of your travelling normally.

People are being robbed off with the price of everything for these stellar events ticket prices for the game go up to over £500 (5% of the allocation) add the hotel and flight and its over £2000 on travel tickets and hotel people pay it because it is rare you get the chance to go to these events Liverpool lucky for them have now been to the final two years running, it starts to seriously add up on the fans.

Pure Greed nothing else

It's called Supply & Demand. And in this instance Supply is been outstripped double fold by Demand. So that naturally drives up prices - oh and you are 3 weeks to departure. Of course the prices are going to be through the roof considering i would guess between 55-70% of the aircraft if not more has already been sold. And at much cheaper rate. Oh and dare i add - it's a weekend. You pay a premium (a small one) to travel over the weekend.

Look at BCN fares for that weekend. Looks like people are using their imagination. Fly BCN and then train across to MAD.

I am kind of surprised Easyjet aren't doing this route anyway, will give a boost to capacity as only Ryanair presently, winter months are busy for The Canaries.

Has Ryanair been the only airline operator serving TFS from LPL in the winter months?

I think in recent times yes, It is quite possible however Easyjet did serve the route, however both Easyjet and Ryanair have transferred many popular routes to Manchester over the years, so TFS could have been amongst them.

Sounds as if there has been either a schedule change, or you have taken data from another date?

I agree on 2 points with have been made:
1/ It's courteous to credit a source
2/ Even if typing in a hurry it is good to keep comments/feed back on a friendly footing.

Thanks to all for remembering the little things in life that keep F4A a friendly crowd.

What i would give to see that sight at Cardiff and have a stable airline operate the domestic routes!

I think CEO at the time Rod Hill, who negotiated with Easyjet to set up base at Liverpool when low cost airlines were a new idea. The man had a lot of foresight.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
