Thanks Matt. Interesting reading. I am correct in reading that the potential capacity this season is 9 million? That would be good to achieve.

The season covers Sun 31st March to Sat 26th October which is 210 days (7 days less than the 2018 reporting period).

The total allocation for 2018 was 9,701,692 seats. For 2019 the allocation is 10,418,733 seats, an increase of 717,041 for the period.

The peak week allocation for 2018 was 344,168 seats. For 2019 it is 369,592 seats, an increase of 25,424.

Obviously there are many external factors that can affect the final numbers but it's good to get an idea of what direction things are heading in.

The W19 Initial Slot Co-ordination is now out, below is the summary from the ACL Report.

There is conformation that Air Arabia Maroc canx Agadir and TUi canx Goa. Thomas Cook had a service to Marrkech which never materialised and we know about new services from TUi (Agadir and Marsa Alam), Lauda (Vienna) and Wizz (Krakow). Lauda Motion is connected to Ryanair, their flights are bookable on the Ryanair website, Level is part of the IAG group, and not connected to Lauda Motion at all!!

Wizzair cancel Poznan cant be right, flights are bookable in the winter period!, maybe the ACL report was issued before the flights were announced?

It mentions Anisec (Level) – 5,040 seats.

:LOL:Level already interested in AMS/CDG

Seems to be a lot of seasonal Ryanair routes going year round? I think Porto was already reported but I wasn't expecting the likes of CHQ and CFU.

I wouldn't get too excited about Ryanair. They've also got massive increases in the reports for Stansted and Manchester, with some very unlikely year round routes.

Copy of the report attached, Anisec (Level) is showing 28 sectors on a 180 seater A320, so are these just 14 ad-hoc flights perhaps during the festival season, or 1 flight a week for 14 weeks?

large increases by FlyBe, Aer Lingus, Brussels Airlines, Easyjet, KLM, Jet2, Ryanair, Wizzair, Thomas Cook & TUI.

This is just the initial slot request report and is usually very different to what the final schedules will look like.

Level could well have been a ski route or possibly an outside chance of a city route starting late Feb.

The Ryanair routes (Porto aside) are most likely ones that will encroach into the winter schedule by a week or two for the school holidays so will be shown as new if they didn't last year. The same could be said for TUi Orlando but in reverse.

Wizz Poznan must have been shown as cancelled when the report came out but as we know has since returned with a Wroclaw based aircraft.

There are bits and pieces elsewhere which I'll look at when I get home.

Don`t know if there is any connection but the Level flight out of Manchester is to SZG for ski programme
and very similar duration

large increases by FlyBe, Aer Lingus, Brussels Airlines, Easyjet, KLM, Jet2, Ryanair, Wizzair, Thomas Cook & TUI.

Flybe - No idea, maybe a wish list?

Aer Lingus - Increases to Cork over last year?

Easyjet - An extra Saturday Geneva added although still down on a couple of years ago.

KLM - Not sure, maybe slots requested but not taken?

I think the others have been covered on here.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
