Where do TUI get their heavy service work done. Wonder if its something to do with that.

I believe it was a “repatriation” flight for the home office.
Another TUI 787 flight departed from STN to Hanoi a day later.

A C130 with the callsign COMET162 was doing some circuits a few minutes ago.

By pure luck I happened to see it from my garden after it had finished and was heading off on its return journey to BZZ!

There are three Air Algerie's showing, but they may not all operate:

14 MAY 1755/1855
25 MAY 1200/1300
29 MAY 2300/0000

Aircraft candidates: 7T-VKS, 7T-VKT, 7T-VJJ, 7T-VHL

Probably picking up day old chicks again

Busier day today total of twenty nine flights including Easterns inaugural to Gibraltar, Ryanair five Dublin, Alicante (brother in laws on it returning to his Spanish home after five months in his English one, not thats really of interest to anyone), Malaga and two Faroe, KLM four and EasyJet five plus others AF, Lufthansa,TUI Loganair etc.

Also STS receive two more A333 to work on making four A333s on site by end of the day after the Smart Lynx A332 leaves fo Malta at lunchtime plus the usual freight traffic and GA stuff including two French Air Force E121s, they are regular visitors no idea why maybe bring top brass of some sort?

Additional one of the two TUI 788s departing to Manchester later today.

Credit mostly to Ian's site.

Coming for a Balti?

Kevin

Ha ha, horrible things (Baltis that is not the French although come to think of it !) and if they are it would have to be a takeaway as both aircraft are due around 10.30 and out around mid day.

Probably the busiest day today for a while.

A total of thirty one departures scheduled plus a few "round the block " trips by Jet2 and TUI and another A332 for STS.

Additionally a second TUI Max due to position in from Gatwick taking the TUI number of aircraft to twelve at BHX 737/757/787 of various series.

Pity they've nowhere to go.

Looks like the aircraft in question (B38M - G-TUMH) positioned today to Manchester from Gatwick rather than Birmingham.
This means there are still 11x TUI aircraft at Birmingham currently - 5x B738, 1x B38M, 2x B752, 2xB788, 1x B789.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
