I’d normally guess something for STS with such an unusual visitor but I think the 747-8 may be the largest aircraft that can fit in the hangar?

Hmm, one off maybe but regular service other than EK, I seriously doubt it even with your high level BHX contacts.

STS do not have 747 approval at BHX.

First 747 I saw at BHX from the spiral staircase was Aer Lingus EI-ASJ a diversion from Cardiff which was fog bound. Rugby fans on the way to Wales-Cardiff in what was then the 5 nations. The CAM book had the registration wrong listing it as EI-ASI. Fond memories of those days
