You may see an A380 sooner than you think and not EK![]()

I don't understand that comment. If it does happen, I'm quite intrigued as to why it would operate into BHX. Could it be to do with Rolls Royce PLC being located in Coventry (if it was anything to do with RR Derby, surely EMA would be used). And just like that, all of the excitement and enthusiasm came to a sudden end.
Was due 11-12th night stopping on 85C but may now be canx ?I've heard that Airbus A380 F-WWOW, may possibly be due early next week (Monday-Tuesday) now for a couple of days re "fuel testing"
*subject to confirmation*
It is not usual to leave the gear down after take off unless they have a fault or for brake cooling (if brake temp inop).May be something and nothing but just watched Jet 2 321 take off when I got off train at Marston Green and noticed landing gear wasn’t retracted, is it a test flight or something amiss?

EDIT...the flight number EXS300T suggests crew training flight. It is not usual to leave the gear down after take off unless they have a fault or for brake cooling (if brake temp inop).
Look at 9H-SLG flights on flight radar since its been at BHX, I suspect they have problems as it appears to be on a 3rd test flight in 2 days, it is currently in a holding pattern south of BHX.
The livery dates from its time as an Eastern Airways plane (G-CGWV).Also showing on FR24 is a colourful EMB-145 (F-HFCN, VLJ689N) of VallJet from BRU at 12:27. The colour scheme looks like a stylised Union Flag, which seems odd on a French registered aircraft.
