Quite a lot of saudi aircraft have a mix sequence there are 3 B789 and all B78X
B773 all all letter/number sequence. This is because in most cases all the alphabet will be used
Just out of interest HZ-AR32 B78X is flying and should be delivered soon and is in the Green retro colours
which in my opion was a much better scheme.

Emirates and Qatar departed over a hour late today
Looking at FR24 it appears both flights made up some time on the return legs so not too bad considering, and certainly no concern for passengers with onward connections.

It's interesting to note the A380 turnaround has been extended by 20 minutes, however push back is still after schedule departure time after the first week of operations. I'm sure things will settle down in due course...

Nice to see emirates taking off 23 minutes late.Great work bhx
Emirates’ delay was minor compared to some of the flight delays yesterday.

For what it’s worth many other UK airports are suffering delays as bad as ours today,

You're being very harsh on Emirates mate! :ROFLMAO:

This is where the information on flightradar24 can be misleading. The scheduled departure time is the pushback time, while the actual departure time is the airborne time.

According to flightstats, today's A380 flight pushed back at 14:44 so only 4 minutes late!

I have no info on the reason behind any delays but with airspace around Russia effectively closed for many airlines, routes heading east from Europe now look to be significantly restricted on the track they can take.

Just a quick look at FR24 shows how busy it is over Romania, Turkey and the Black Sea area. I wonder if ATC restrictions to manage the flow may be playing a part?

What's to say the reason has anything to do with BHX?
The flight landed in DXB 19 min early. An on-time, or early arrival at DXB is much more important, as many pax will have had onward connections to catch.

RAF A330 Voyager (ZZ343, RRR2303) due from Akrotiri at 01:49.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. It only takes a couple of minutes to upload a news story with an accompanying image. survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
