Several arriving aircraft at 8am seem to be circling. FR660 was the first but others still circling. Any idea why? Weather seems fine

Destination Dubai A6-EES is NOT cancelled as everyone is saying on Facebook. The specific aircraft already has a flight scheduled, before BHX was added to the FFL list. It may be another Expo plane, as I see EOT is available.

The TUI 763 G-OBYF that positioned in yesterday from MAN is operating todays regular BY7548 to Teneriffe substituting for the usual 787.

The Emirates 388wx diversion on Wednesday night from MAN finally positioned back there yesterday at 14:53.

Yesterday's RAF Voyager flight from Hanover appears have been a medivac flight, hopefully the individual(s) are O.K.

Today's EK has a different Colour Scheme but still isn't the Destination Dubai Livery it is A6-EUY Journey to the Future Livery and a former regular to BHX we ay seen it for two weeks or so

Destination Dubai Livery Aircraft I believe are 3 Class A380's I don't think they have any 2 class painted in the livery

G-JZBO came into Birmingham from Glasgow this morning
Jet2 737H G-JZBO after positioning in from Glasgow operated their flight to Naples.

The Air Explore 737H OM-KEX departed STS this afternoon to Bratislava.

Finally the TUI 767 which operated Teneriffe flight positioned back up to MAN yesterday after completing the return flight.

All on Ian's bhxmovementsblog.

Are we subject to VAR on this platform? So pinickety about what thread we are to be upon?

Please, I have had enough of it. Conversation is freeflowing or as I thought !
I beg your pardon?

Poster was ‘forget what you see on Facebook’ I’ve merely asked what was on Facebook because I’m not stupid enough to use it.

As has been said before it is the arrival time at destination that is the most important thing particularly on a service like Emirates with their multiple worldwide connections.

Their arrival performance overall is good due to the inbuilt flight time buffer that all airlines apply.

Yes there will be hiccups like the 777-300 suffered the other night with a technical fault but overall they have a good reputation.

Enter Air B737-800 (SP-ENM, ENT465) due from Lyon (LYS) tomorrow at 07:25. Departs to LYS at 16:30 as ENT466.

Also, Volotea A319 (EC-MUC, VOE9182) due from Montpellier (MPL) at 07:52. No departure from BHX showing.

And Klasjet B737-300 (LY-BGS, KLJ8103) is due from Liege (LGG) at 13:58. No departure showing from BHX.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. It only takes a couple of minutes to upload a news story with an accompanying image. The news items can then be shared on the site homepage by you. #TakePart #Forums4airports Bring the news to one place!
survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
