Not sure if this has been posted already, but dummy booking on the airport car park site suggests some dates for terminal moves as follows:
16 Sep: EI
22 Sep: LG
24 Sep: AY
7 Oct : BA
20 Oct: LM
26 Oct: SK, FI, GF, TS, EY, TK
I have no idea how accurate this is, and I assume the 26 Oct dates are just placeholders for the start of the winter schedule and will still move around a bit.
Same page suggests U2 & EK in T1 until at least the end of the year.
Corendon I think may be summer only so I assume will just re start next year from T2?

Thanks for the info.
Last time I checked the info from about 2 weeks ago it was Aer Lingus, SAS and Finnair moving over next month and Gulf Air in October.
As from the end of October is the start of the winter schedule and therefore a quieter period imagine this would be the best time for the majority of carriers to move over to T2.

Yes Corendon are summer only. I'm assuming they'll be given a Terminal move date around the same time as the others regardless.

Just did a dummy booking too and Ryanair down to use T1 from 21st October.
I’m just hoping this move isn’t delayed as I want to use the lounge in December and at the moment there is no lounge in T3.

The above are accurate as things stand.

The dates are still a little fluid though and I’d certainly expect some further changes.

Geekily watching a live stream and virtually all the portacabins on pier 2 have been removed. Only one airbridge remaining to be fitted on the east side onto the end snake gate that is 214.

A Post on PPRune now Indicates the following (provided link on text for credit). Note that the car park booking has not been updated for this list so I would expect this will change at due course. Again all subject to change:

To T2:
  • 16th September - Aer Lingus, Aer Lingus Regional
  • 22nd September - Luxair
  • 24th September - Finnair
  • 7th October - British Airways
  • 20th October - Loganair
  • 28th October - Icelandair
  • 2nd November - Air Transat
  • 5th November - Gulf Air
  • 11th November - SAS, Turkish Airlines
  • 17th November - Etihad Airways
  • 18th November - Emirates
  • 19th November - EasyJet, EasyJet Europe
Corendon Airlines and Norse Atlantic Airways will move to T2 when operations resume since they only serve MAN at certain times.

To T1:
  • 21st October - Ryanair

Do we know what will happen to the T1/T3 road network? Will T3 drop off and coach pick up still be a thing? Will T1 drop off, up the ramp, become redundant?

How many remote stands will be left after dual operations begin? Anyone seen any apron diagrams yet? Assuming Piers B and C will be utilised for overnighters

901/3/5/7/9/11/13/15/17/19/25/27/29

116L/114 (narrow config)

113L/R

231L/R / 233
80L/R / 81

70/71/72/73/74L/R

61L/R // 62L/R

57/58

I make that 35 remotes assuming all NB A/C.

The new duel taxiway removes stands 63L/R, 64L/R, 65, 66L/R, 67L/R, 68L/R & 69. 82L/R, 235 & 237. Additionally 81 loses the L/R aspect but remains as a stand. - 17 remote stands.

The new pier brings 13 new N/B stands so the net loss is -4 NB stands.

However the new pier does bring greater flexibility into pier served operations, with the dual taxiway there will also be less ramp congestion so greater utilisation of the stands available.

Once cargo sheds demolished, load new remote stands also, will make up for ones lost. Anyone know exactly how many new ones will come on line? Probably a few years away!! Nothing happens quickly!

Since 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12A & 12B are not mentioned, I am assuming these will be the stands Ryanair will use on Pier B when they are the sole airline in T1/T3?
They will remain pier served stands for the time being. The above post was regarding remote stands.

There’s some wild speculation elsewhere with regards to the easyJet move in November. They are being moved from the T1/3 site to allow major works to take place for which there is simply no capacity to undertake these works whilst the terminal is in use. T3 airside will close for redevelopment in stages so FR will be using T1 gates. This is planned until T1 check in finally closes in 2030. There’s not enough room for both EZY/FR to both use T1 without a serious bussing operation. I fully expect EZY to return to the future T1 in coming years once the next stage of works are complete. Out of the two airlines, Ryanair shout the loudest, with increased taxi times to T2 among the reasons.

easyJet will use Zone C in T2 from 19th November.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
