Out of interest what was the load factor like? From what I recall - I'm away on holiday, hence my lack of posts - LH normally show as 88-90 seats on the CRJ90.

Returned back to Liverpool from Norway with Lufthansa yesterday. Service was v good. I'd say 60 passengers on board this time. Looked like many had transferred like me.

I think it all depends on wether it is Lufthansa mainline or Citiline, there isn`t a lot of difference in seating on EMB-190 and A319 but EMB-190 is a lot more economic

It could be either. The E190 has 100 seats and A319 has 138 seats which to me is a fair few more seats. As does the A320 which can seat upto 156.

Surely more pax is better both for the airports and airline as money is being made for both.

The A319 is loosing favour with many airlines as it is becoming quite expensive to operate like the A318 did, the Embraer is picking up most of the sales
especially the EMB-190 400 with a lot of extra seats and remember that mainline work on a very different crew package than cityline.

The loads seem good on the flights. I wonder if at some point they might consider using something bigger such as the A319 or 320 on the route.

I think daily should be the next thing. Its also good to see passengers in business both ways. Also plenty of transferring passengers.

So at the moment they have 3 days where they do no operate . I was wondering if they filled that in with LPL-MUC being that is a hub too, and also giving another city option in a different part of Germany. Or is it best just to consolidate LPL-FRA and add there. Mixing times is a good idea. Anyway i'm sure they know best !

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
