Indeed it was, however I believe that died a death quite a long time ago.

If only an aviation user could be found for the hangar - actually if you go back to the initial announcement of STS at Manchester I think you will find that it was as part of a big contract to convert B777(?) to freighters. If they are busy with all this maintenance that they have in hand at present, maybe they will need a second hangar?

I guess that would depend how much MAN want it occupied. They basically forced Air Livery out with their rent demands.

Flights flights were from/to Heathrow.

Would appear that the SkyExpress A321N VP-CUN (ex N814AG) is to spend a period outside the hangar in storage. The aircraft has been bagged up so speak with engines and pitot statics etc covered over.

G-GATN arrived at 15:51 as BA9750 and G-GATU departed as BA9751 at 18:06. Both from and to Heathrow.

G-GATJ A320 arrived from LGW as BA9750 at 15:44 and G-GATN departed back to LGW at 17:59 as BA9751.

Likewise, STS Birmingham are not just dealing with Boeings. Just had a Brussels Airlines A330 in for several days. Does this mean that each station has engineers for both types, or can engineers be licensed across multiple types?

I guess it maybe what they are doing that matters and available space

Engineers can be typed on multiple aircraft, currency can be an issue especially post covid. It used to be recommended that they held a maximum of 4 different types this was during the days of BCAR section L licences but it seems these days under EASA/CAA part-66 licensing they can hold multiple types and certify them as long as they stay current.
This is also dependent on what approvals the MRO has on its part-145 MOE (Maintenance organisation exposition) approval for the specific line/base area (The type of aircraft/engines, what capability they have and the level of work they can carry out at that location)
That is just a real basic overview but if you really want to understand it head to the CAA site or EASA site and look at Part-66, Part-145, Part-M and also read the GM (guidance material) and the AMC (acceptable means of compliance).
