Fuel shortage. My niece is crewing on it, and it’ll take them out of hours so picking up more crew as well as well as fuel
Now means returning as passengers or an overnight stop in Fuerteventura

Correct and its Not LBA Fault.

The problem I understand lies with fuel deliveries by road/ tanking company.

Malta Air Boeing 737-800 9H-QBC has just departed from Dublin and will make her first LBA visit in around forty minutes. This fuselage first appeared at LBA on 09 November 2017 when operated by Ryanair as EI-GDE.

Albastar inbound from Lourdes is delayed until tomorrow due to the ATC Strikes in France.

Ryanair have already cancelled tomorrows rotations to Limoges & Paris Beauvais

Apparently the refinery also supplies Heathrow. The Government has announced an investigation into the conduct of the directors regarding the insolvency. The Guardian is reporting that the husband and wife owners (who had no previous experience in the oil refinery industry) have paid themselves £11.5M in pay and dividends since they bought the business from Total in 2021.

Could also affect local trains as Neville Hill depot in Leeds is one of the very few that receives it's fuel by rail from Lindsey.

Yes it does supply LHR, but it's a small % and there are many players and multiply supply routes into the airport.
