Unless Sunwing have got (PPR) prior permission from LBA management.
It will mean that ATC will have to staffed and the CTA, CTR, ATZ will all have to be activated for a period of time.

Seems a very odd time to arrive if it's a delivery flight. It could just as easily have arrived at 0700. Perhaps the crew bringing it over have a plane to catch!

Wizz Air Malta Airbus 320 9H-WZQ is enroute from Katowice to make her first LBA visit mid morning. This aircraft only entered service yesterday after residing at Prestwick for a couple of months. She was previously G-WUKF of Wizz Air UK.

Well as it's the weekend there's probably no runway works tonight. So it'll be just a matter of ATC sticking around. Still seems a weird time to arrive as there's no good reason I can think of why they couldn't have arrived a few hours later when the airport is fully operational.

Searching FR24, for the flight number WG9002, shows a B737 was planned from YYZ to MAN on 7 Jan, arriving 02:15. Status is 'Unknown'. The same flight number shows as Waterloo (YKF) - YYZ on the 9 Jan and Quebec (YQR) - Montreal (YUL) on the 11 Jan (both flights operated). If the aircraft is to arrive in LBA from YYZ at 02:00, then i would expect it's departure from YYZ in the next hour.

It's shown on the YYZ departures at 1.30pm local, but showing Unknown departure time.
I think now that if it's coming, it's coming in the morning. If it's not set off now (at 2145) it going to be at least 0415 when it gets here, so it will depart to arrive after 0600 tomorrow in my view. Or not at all!

It's usually the South Side with Leeds United on board.

Yeh I thought so but it probably depends on who is handling them.

It's a long time since Leeds United used the main terminal. Their flight was late departing. Left CWL at 1930.
And it did go to Multiflight .
