The weather situation must be improving.

As the Wizz Air (Malta) flight "WMT3015" from Bucharest operated by Airbus A321Neo, 9H-WBN has landed on its first attempt.
It's better than it was but latest METAR from 30 minutes ago was 250 Deg ,22 gusting 33 knots. That's a drop of around 10 knots.

What's unusual is that the wind direction isn't altering at all as Storm Isha moves away towards the NE. Still 250. That shows just how big an area it covered . And tomorrow we can welcome Storm Jocelyn!

Its hard to believe the two aircraft types that are normally bad in crosswinds (A321 ans E190) have both landed!
The mysterious LBA!!

An interesting aircraft flight-planned in tomorrow morning is Phernom PS-FBL from Palermo 1110. PS- is the prefix of the latest Brazilian registrations taking over from PP-. This will be the first visit by a PS registered aircraft to LBA, of course subject to problems with Wind, rain, hail, snow and tempest, oh and possibly fog!!!!!

Loganair E145 G-SAJE (Pride livery) expected from Exeter tomorrow afternoon 15:00

Presumably bringing Plymouth for their game against Leeds United on Saturday.

A400M ZM413 made a low approach go around earlier aswell.

Sunwing Airlines Boeing 737-800 C-FWGH is just overhead northern Scotland to land at LBA around breakfast time. Flight 'SWG9002' from Toronto is a delivery for Jet2 and will park on Stand 20A. The aircraft first visited us on 29 April 2017 to be used by Thomson for the summer season.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. It only takes a couple of minutes to upload a news story with an accompanying image. The news items can then be shared on the site homepage by you. #TakePart #Forums4airports Bring the news to one place!
survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
