Never posted or joined thay Facebook group, just read the comments on why he wouldn’t post the link. The mind boggles.

I was on it and left because it proved to be a hiding place for anti airport trolls who came out from under their bridges to attack anyone who dared to voice support for LBA development. Clearly infiltrated by G***A spies and double agents. Perhaps they have knobbled the admin!

Frankly, whilst I have said the refusal to allow the LBA video is pathetic, it doesnt surprise me at all judging by my previous experiences. Sadly, I suspect these agents have infiltrated more than that group.

It’s obvious though the council have not updated the portal with the email submissions, maybe they have that many there email system has crashed

I emailed radio Leeds last week over there story about the people cuddling there teddy bears and been up all night counting planes( not sheep)
Obviously I had no reply so have gone in just now guns blazing ( not expecting a reply) asking them why they are not running a counter story and that I pay my tv licence (for now) so I expect them to be impartial and tell both sides of the story.
If I get a reply i will let the group know

Rather than leaving the group I would urge members to make posts making clear their opposition to their Admins stance. Only then leave the group.

Odd that the opposition is being uploaded but the support isn't.

I wonder if the airport needs to electronically send the submissions in that the start point is their form? I agree it seems odd?

We know people are submitting support. We know that support isn't being added in the portal. I have been here before. 1993. Loads of LACAN opposition logged, then loads of support that crashed the council's system. So looking on the bright side, I am hoping the absence of support being added is a sign of good things to come. No news is good news.

Update: My understanding is that the airport's campaign, plus the efforts of people on here, and other supporters, has resulted in a significant amount of support, which LCC are currently processing. So.....please keep up encouraging anyone and everyone to add their support, and if you see nonsensical comments on line, challenge and correct them. Otherwise they get believed.

Something must be wrong. Theres overwhelming support in the online media yet its not translating into 'for' submissions on the planning portal.

Bear in mind not everyone is using the supportlba.co uk route into the portal so that cant be the reason.

To be fair I think this will pass the planning anyway no matter how many people need to cuddle a teddy bear, if I remember and someone may be able to remember, the change of hours was granted as part of the new terminal plans a few years back? Only for it to be called in? The council email system has probably crashed with all the support emails 🤣
