Suppose we should be thankful it was going to SPU rather than LJU because isn't that the code for Lubricanta!!!A Jet2 spokesperson has confirmed that due to a lack of Castrol GTX the aircraft lost its bearings and landed at Manchester instead of Split.
Can I take it that the Pegasus due in at 15:00 is destined for Jet2?
Only 8 years old as well…..Another Boeing 737-800, TC-CRB joining the jet2 fleet
Stay friendly with pegasus i say then if they have some pretty new 737 800s!Out of 109 aircraft in the Pegasus fleet only 10 are Boeings (738s) the rest are A320/A320 neos and A321neos which might explain why they have let a relatively new 738 leave as they move to a 100% Airbus fleet.
Thanks easy049, yes i reacon because LBA is the largest 737 base i feel it will stay this way for a long time. As the 300s leave the fleet more ex pegasus 800s will join us here at LBA.I agree LBA4EVER. I suspect LBA will be the last base to see A321s.
Cluck cluckMay be it's going to be a case of keeping all the ex Eggasus 738s in one basket!

Bet you all now LBA remains a 737 only base for sometime, perhaps a case of keep all your 737s in one basket!!

My mate was on a 733 to Faro on Friday afternoon and said it looked 50% full…GDFO wont last another 5 years with all the problems its having.Nothing on the grapevine my end about 321s at Leeds!
Latest is 733s until 2029!
I cant see a need for capacity increase at present. Loads aren’t high enough! I personally have seen a full aircraft about 4x this summer. Rest of the time it’s about 75%.
