Hopefully we'll be seeing an A330 based over the peak summer

Apparently im hearing that due to delays in 32N deliveries for Jet2 and the need to shift 2(?) A/C to Luton to launch their base, the A330 will be base at BHX over peak summer. 1x 330 at BHX and 2x 330 at MAN....

Yet to be cpnfirmed thought but not looked in the booking system yet.

I think we were down for 9 based NEO but that was reduced to 7 to cover LTN. With delivery delays it could be even less now but an A330 to make up for it.

I did hear that from next week BHX will be down to four NEO's as one will go to Luton. Does anyone know the timescale as to when/if any further NEO's are due to be based?

G-VYGL has been operating most of the winter from MAN and I have seen it several times in last week or two

What about if they have all 4 tankers for S26 - GVYGL/GM at MAN and GK/GJ at BHX?

The real question has to be - if this is due to delivers yet Jet2 manage to sell the aircraft out day in day out flight in flight out ... will they look at using wide body in BHX?

High density configuration, 9 abreast 3-3-3 in an aircraft which is usually 8 abreast 2-4-2. Same as Air Transat uses. Just about tolerable for a short flight. Tight squeeze with your neighbours. Will be nice to have a wide body aircraft, but not if the person in the seat next to you also has a wide body!

schedule so far:-

Palma x 3 Monday, Wednesday & Thursday am
Alicante x2 Tuesday & Saturday am
Faro x2 Friday & Sunday am
Dalaman x1 Friday pm

still to add, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday afternoon flights, expect Tenerife to be added, maybe more Canary flights, Turkey? Cyprus?

Using the A332 is actually less seats as it is operating 2 x 738's flight at a time

So nice to have but less movements and less seats
