That would be an interesting development. AXD currently receives no holiday flights, even from Germany. This may be because the tourism infrastructure is less developed there than further west. There are ferries to Lemnos and Samothrace.

Also mentions eastern Macedonia so I’m thinking also Ohrid aswell is rumoured however it doesn’t mention it in the article

I don’t think ‘Eastern Macedonia’ would include Ohrid which is in the west of North Macedonia. Normally the term Eastern Macedonia refers to the areas East of Salonika.
