My wife and I transited Glasgow Airport the week before last with easyJet from/to Bristol to spend a few days in and around Glasgow, one of our favourite British cities.
We've used GLA several times in the past but not since 2009. We always found it to be an efficient airport - not too big but not too small either - and weren't let down this time.
It's easy (no pun intended!) to find your way around and the eateries (we used one on the return journey) are varied and not over expensive as airports go.
I've heard one or two moans down the years about the ground floor departure 'cabin' that easyJet seems to use but my wife and I can't see any problem with it. It's a very short walk to the aircraft from there.
Does anyone know what extra traffic GLA is expecting for the Commonwealth Games next year? I believe some infrastructure improvement is also taking place in time for The Games but I'm not sure what.
