It's cancelled because of strike action. This affects all WestJet flights to the UK and not just Cardiff.

Figures for the first full month of Toronto are out. 4146 passengers. 70.2% LF.

Quite a heated discussion on Dried Plum over the success of the Toronto route, with one poster calling the figures pathetic, as I don't contribute on there I can't get involved, but some people don't seem to be giving the route a chance, especially when it involves CWL.

There does seem to be people who want it to fail, i suspect probably because they feel an airport like Cardiff shouldn't have such a route or that they feel the Welsh government has bought it or a bit of both.
It's a decent start to the route. I think the World Cup may have effected it in the beginning but I think 70% is a decent load factor and fingers crossed July, August and September will be better.
