Sorry I couldn't get back earlier Jerry, the only link I have is (www.facebook.com/***feed/). I am unable to acces X (twitter). That is why I summarised the entry by Dai Sadler on facebook. Perhaps the other members who have read the post on facebook could help you further.

I asked GPT to assess if the Facebook post was written by AI:

My confidence
AI-generated or fabricated: 95–99% likely
Authentic WestJet press release: Very unlikely
If this came from X (Twitter), I'd be highly suspicious unless the post links directly to WestJet's official newsroom.

I've seen the post but there's no link with it.

That post is all a bit bizarre. Commenting turned off. No link. I've googled different parts of the post and can't find anything relating to it.
I've googled it to and nothing has come up.

WestJet Toronto route has resumed today after an agreement was reached between the airline and unions.

Quite a heated discussion on Dried Plum over the success of the Toronto route, with one poster calling the figures pathetic, as I don't contribute on there I can't get involved, but some people don't seem to be giving the route a chance, especially when it involves CWL.

There does seem to be people who want it to fail, i suspect probably because they feel an airport like Cardiff shouldn't have such a route or that they feel the Welsh government has bought it or a bit of both.
It's a decent start to the route. I think the World Cup may have effected it in the beginning but I think 70% is a decent load factor and fingers crossed July, August and September will be better.
