  • Bergerac becomes Jet2’s 37th destination on sale from Bristol Airport for Summer 27, with even more good news to come!

UK consumer champion Jet2 has today announced the launch of a brand-new route to Bergerac from Bristol Airport for Summer 27, giving customers and independent travel agents across the South West even more choice when it comes to booking a summer getaway.

The leading leisure airline and UK’s largest tour operator will operate weekly Saturday services from Bristol Airport to Bergerac from 22nd May to 25th September 2027, with flights and holidays, including holidays to Eurocamp parks, going on sale today.

Bergerac is the gateway to the famous Dordogne region, one of the most beautiful areas of France. With its stunning chateaux, medieval towns, unspoiled countryside, renowned wine tasting, culinary delights and wide range of outdoor activities, the destination gives holidaymakers the chance to experience one of France’s most charming and characterful regions.

Holidaymakers can access fantastic Eurocamp holidays in the region through Jet2holidays, with parks nestled in locations close to lakes, rivers and idyllic towns, with the inclusion of car hire meaning that holidaymakers can head out and explore nearby resorts and attractions at their own pace.

Today’s announcement means that Jet2 now has 37 destinations on sale from Bristol Airport for Summer 27. It follows the recent announcement of Jersey as another new route from the airport

for Summer 27, and comes as the company continues to grow its biggest ever summer programme from Bristol Airport, with over 1.16 million seats now on sale for Summer 27.

Customers and independent travel agents booking the new route can enjoy the award-winning service that Jet2 is renowned for, including great value, package holidays with a low deposit and the company’s famously welcoming customer service.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2, said:

“We are delighted to be adding Bergerac to our Summer 27 programme from Bristol Airport, giving customers and independent travel agents across the South West even more choice and flexibility when it comes to booking their holidays. Bergerac is a fantastic addition to our programme, opening up the beautiful Dordogne region with its chateaux, medieval towns, countryside, food and wine, as well as fantastic holidays at a Eurocamp park. With 37 destinations now on sale from Bristol Airport for Summer 27, including two new routes, and with more good news to come, we are looking forward to another very successful summer from the airport.”

Rupert Lawrie, Commercial Director at Bristol Airport, said:

"We are delighted to see Jet2 continue to expand its network from Bristol Airport. The introduction of flights to Bergerac in the South West of France will not only appeal to those who love food and wine, history and the great outdoors, but also families. We look forward to continuing our fantastic partnership with Jet2."

Gauthier De Malet, CEO Bergerac Airport, said:

“Bergerac Dordogne Périgord Airport is delighted to welcome Jet2’s announcement of this new route. This development further strengthens Jet2’s presence at Bergerac and reflects the airline’s confidence in our airport and in the long-term potential of the Dordogne as a destination. It is excellent news for our airport, for tourism, and for the wider economic development of the region.”
