Hi all,
Earlier today, F4A experienced intermittent downtime caused by an unusually heavy wave of automated traffic hitting the site. This traffic overwhelmed the server’s capacity to respond, which is why the forum was slow or unreachable for a period. The source of the problem has been identified, and fixes have been applied at both the server and network level, and the site is now stable.
As a precaution, Cloudflare’s “Under Attack” mode on the domain has been enabled. Visitors will briefly see a security check screen (about 5 seconds) before the forum loads. This is expected and filters out the automated traffic while letting real visitors through.
If you notice anything unusual after the security screen, let us know.
