Hi all,

Earlier today, F4A experienced intermittent downtime caused by an unusually heavy wave of automated traffic hitting the site. This traffic overwhelmed the server’s capacity to respond, which is why the forum was slow or unreachable for a period. The source of the problem has been identified, and fixes have been applied at both the server and network level, and the site is now stable.

As a precaution, Cloudflare’s “Under Attack” mode on the domain has been enabled. Visitors will briefly see a security check screen (about 5 seconds) before the forum loads. This is expected and filters out the automated traffic while letting real visitors through.

If you notice anything unusual after the security screen, let us know.

Hi @Ashley.S. and I hope you can help.

EGGC_MAN is unable to access the site as Cloudflare gives it's warning but does not allow him access to the site. He is an extremely knowledgeable person and has tried gaining access using multiple different devices.

Do you have any thoughts? If he's happy for me to disclose his mobile number would you be able to contact him?

Thanks

Sholto

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours

I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
