Ryanair has added extra flights for Dublin over the Xmas and New Year period.
Extra flights every day from 17/12/23 too 8/1/24.

Great to see them trying a new route from Bristol rather than just duplicating easyJet routes already in existence. However, the flight time is poor should you want to visit Tirana for a weekend break.
I’m glad to see Ryanair has woken up a little after years of stagnation at BRS

Cologne appears to have joined Riga in being dropped this summer. 2nd German route that appeared to be doing well that has now been dropped.

Ryanair at BRS - Peak-summer 2024
Looks like there are still many adjustments happening to the schedule, with the latest showing the base back at 5x aircraft for peak-summer and around the same number of weekly departures as 2023. Below is a quick summary:

New routes in summer 2024 - CPH (3), FUE (2), PRG (2), RAK (2), SOF (2), and TIA (2)

Discontinued routes in summer 2024 (that operated in summer 2023) - CGN (3), RIX (2), WMI (2)

Routes with additional departures each week vs 2023 - ACE, EGC, KRK and WRO

Routes with a reduction in departures each week vs 2023 - AGP, BGY, BZR, GRO, LPA, NOC, POZ, VCE

Any one else find it strange that Ryanair has launched winter 24/25 from all the other uk bases apart from Brs ( and bfs) over a month ago ?

I noticed that too! From all UK airports all flights to Dublin for example are on sale for the winter apart from Bristol & Cardiff

Further to yesterdays release , two flights have been added for euro 24 to Frankfurt Hahn and Riga has now reappeared on the website but no flights released.

Winter at the moment is looking good with new winter routes to Copenhagen , Prague , Marrakech , Tirana , fuerteventura and a return of cologne

I've compared Ryanair's schedule from BRS during the second week in August 2024 compared to the same week in 2023. Here are the number of departures each week with the changes highlighted.

Number of destinations operating per week:
2023: 33

Ryanair have launched Bodrum and Dalaman from Stansted. I'd expect more UK airports will get flights to Turkey and would be very surprised if Bristol wasn't one.

Hi, I was born and lived in B36 for a long time - Lindale Avenue, just around the corner from Hodge Hill Comp.
I just noticed your postcode on a post.

Do you still live in the area?

49 trips undertaken last year. First done this year which was to North Wales where surprisingly the only slippery surfaces were in Conwy with the castle and it's walls closed due to the ice.
