Ryanair are infuriating. So many unserved routes at BRS, and lots of others that could do with an increase in frequency but they simply copy EasyJet, I don’t think they can have anyone working on routes, they just see what EasyJet do. They’re even flying on the same days of the week.

Well they must think if our competitor thinks they can make money then so can they.

It’s certainly strange how Ryanair always chases these niches that EasyJet create. I was thinking the other day of all the routes that Bristol is currently missing - Warsaw , Vienna /Bratislava , Stockholm
, Oslo - all of which Ryanair could have chosen where there would be absolutely no competition but they choose a bunfight over a market where one airline is enough . As with Seville many years ago both may end up leaving the route leaving us without Bari again - let’s hope the route succeeds

Presumably a glitch in the app but there are no Ryanair routes on sale from the 2nd to 30th November. Normal schedule seem to resume on the 1st Dec. Any ideas?

Summary of Ryanair from BRS in Summer 2026
UPDATED: 29-JUN-26

I've compared Ryanair's schedule from BRS during the second week in August 2026 compared to the same week in 2025. Here are the number of departures each week with the changes highlighted.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Number of destinations operating per week:
2025: 35
2026: 36 [+1]
-------------------------------------------------------------
Number of departures per week:
2025: 155
2026: 167 [+12 / +8%]
-------------------------------------------------------------
Number of based aircraft:
2025: 5 (3x B38M / 2x B738)
2026: 5 (3x B38M / 2x B738)
-------------------------------------------------------------
Summary
Out of these 167x departures a week, 101x departures will be use BRS based aircraft and 66x will use aircraft operating from 22x other RYR bases (meaning 60% of the departures each week use BRS based aircraft). This means that nearly all the increased flights in 2026 are due to more flights being operated from other RYR bases vs 2025 (hence no need for extra based aircraft at BRS)
-------------------------------------------------------------
Departures Per Week (in mid-August) from BRS each year
2016 - 132
2017 - 131 (-1% on 2016)
2018 - 125 (-5% on 2017)
2019 - 132 (+6% on 2018)
-COVID-

2022 - 131 (-1% on 2019)
2023 - 147 (+12% on 2022)
2024 - 144 (-2% on 2023)
2025 - 155 (+8% on 2024)

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?

I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
